Lost & Swiss family Robinson – Pretty much the same thing?

I just asked this Q but I wasnt clear so I will ask it again. I know the story of the swiss family robinson was written hundreds of years ago and the movie in the sixties or something, but it sort of feels like you are watching the home made version of Lost…

Is it just me but when I watched it I just thought the writers of Lost took that film and just jazzed it up. Even the raft they made to find help was the same!

Is it just me?

No way. Only if the family Robinson met up with the Jetsons. Lost is definitely sci-fi. Swiss family Robinsons never met up with polar bears on the island or lived on an island thatmoved from one location to another. Or had killer smoke clouds following them. Or other weird crap like that. No similarity at all.
